How to Develop a French Language HR Plan

    • Clearly establish criteria for designating a position, such as: the proportion of the population that is Francophone; this population’s health needs; whether the service is unique; accessibility and continuity of the service; importance of communication to ensure quality and safety of the service;
    • Evaluate positions based on these criteria;
    • Have designated positions approved in the organizational structure;
    • Determine the level of bilingualism required.
