Welcome to this interactive online training course on the active offer of French language health care services. This training course was developed by the Réseau du mieux-être francophone du Nord de l’Ontario (Réseau).
The modules were inspired by the priorities established by the former Office of the French Language Services Commissioner of Ontario*. The modules were also inspired by the Reference Framework for Active Offer of French Language Health Services and the Toolbox for the Active Offer developed by the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS).
Northern Ontario health service providers, Laurentian University health care students and the active offer training guide developed by Reflet Salvéo helped with the selection of the topics addressed in this training course.
* As of May 1, 2019, the French Language Services Commissioner became part of the Office of the Ombudsman of Ontario.
This initiative is made possible through funding from Health Canada under the Roadmap for Canada’s Official Languages 2013-2018: Education, Immigration, Communities.
